Welcome to My World
[The Twilight Zone iconic music] There is a sixth dimension beyond that which is even more incomprehensible as the fifth. It is a dimension as vast as dark matter and as awesome as sushi. It is the middle ground between existence and non-existence, between imagination and manifestation, and it lies between the bindings of a book, and the limits of your imagination. This is the dimension of Me. In an area which we call ... The Blog Zone.
You are now embarking upon a journey, into a world that I completely made up and wish to share with all of you. Context written here, is a manifestation of plotting and precision of my beautiful world, Ithicca. The characters you will encounter are all fake, but extremely influential and grow with me over time like the aging of fine brandy. My inspiration, my muse is life, the things I see, the media I am exposed to, and the morals and values I perceive in my whole existence. I know right?! This could be fun.
So let’s address the elephant in the room, why am I making such a big deal about this world, does the story matter? Who cares about this world, let’s get to the story and the people, and the action?!
Right there is my point, “who cares about this world, I want to know about the story and the people and the action!” And that is where I am different, the world is the story, it is important. Ithicca is starving and dying, and it matters to the people in my world. The people in my world struggle and sacrifice to save it. The fact that there is something wrong with this world I means something to them and the best stories are always about the individuals that put themselves on the line, who stepped up and do something about it.
With this concept in mind three people of this world take a risk on faith and step up to the plate and hit it out of the park. The first book of a series of 5, with a prequel in mind (Yes I am ambitious), is called Dark Prophecy: The Chosen Three. The first of its’ series introduces you to the Dark Prophecy and the key characters involved. These characters are far from shallow, having secret memories, traumatic experiences, montages, and ups and downs.
